My sister-in-law, Joy, asked me to help her with a photo shoot for her fiance, Randy. He found a picture of “Briar Rose” a.k.a. Sleeping Beauty that he said looked just like Joy. Well we decided to recreate this picture. We had so much fun doing this. Joy is gorgeous, so it made it easy. Here are our results. We were happy with them!

A few afternoons ago I did a session with Amanda. She is expecting her first baby girl, Avery. Already it is obvious Amanda is going to be an amazing mommy. She is so excited to welcome this baby girl into her life. Avery’s daddy was a soldier and I was truly honored to share in these memories with Amanda. I am so excited to take pictures of little Avery when she arrives! The evening Amanda and I met up for pictures the sun, the sky, the trees, could not have been more beautiful. Amanda is truly a beautiful mommy-to-be and it was a joy to spend time with her. Here are a few to share from her session.

My pal Stephanie Moore, who is an amazing fellow photographer, and I did a photo shoot together today. I had so much fun! She is such a talent and I learned so much from her. The gorgeous girl is Abby. I have to say, trying to narrow down just 5 to share was very hard. She is a natural in front of the camera and was a joy to work with. She handeled two photographers snapping away at her very well!

My very good friend Ms. Melanie Gardner flattered me by asking for my help in taking some headshots of her. She has several auditions coming up so she needed some updated headshots. We set up in my living room one evening and had a blast as we talked the evening away. I think we got some great shots. She is a tremendous vocal talent. Remember her name, you will hear more of it!
