Project 26: Faceless Portrait | Hattiesburg, MS Photographer

What is a “faceless portrait?” Let’s start with what a portrait is. oh wow!! beautiful intepretation. and those dancing shots are fantastic. can i get some tips please??? seriously!

Carey PaceJanuary 19, 2012 - 8:13 am

I adore this interpretation. The pain that it takes to accomplish a goal – the pain that no one ever sees. I love it.

celestejonesJanuary 19, 2012 - 9:49 am

You did a good job interpreting this weeks theme by showing a dancer’s feet. I really like this, and the last set of her dancing:)

Gail PomareJanuary 19, 2012 - 10:35 am

what a great image, and perfectly supported by the dancing shots. She is beautiful and brava to her for the commitment to dance that gives her those blistered feet. Brillante!

krista keller photography | Danville CAJanuary 19, 2012 - 10:36 am

LOVE this Suzanne. Her feet tell the whole story. The story behind the story…the pain, the wear and tear on their little bodies. Just beautiful! love.

melissa deakinJanuary 19, 2012 - 3:13 pm

hi suzanne!
oh wow…this is incredible. i love how you thought about this theme and photographed something so perfect for it.
i love that i can see all the hard work by looking at the bottoms of her feet.
fabulous work!

Allison JacobsJanuary 19, 2012 - 7:08 pm

I love how this dancer’s feet tell a story about her. It is a wonderful portrait that shows something special about her!

heidiJanuary 19, 2012 - 7:30 pm

Great one-the feet really illustrate who she is and what her passion is. :) Nice take!

Lora SwinsonJanuary 21, 2012 - 8:05 pm

This is breathtakingly beautiful!

Jayme F.January 22, 2012 - 8:49 pm

wonderful interpretation of the theme and the perspective in the shot is perfect. Great job!

Shea Parker | Peepeye DesignsJanuary 31, 2012 - 11:10 am

Allison JacobsJanuary 5, 2012 - 7:50 pm

This background is SO gorgeous! You must live somewhere that there is actually fall weather!!! I love your little ones and the composition of just your bottom half! Cute, cute, cute!

Lora SwinsonJanuary 5, 2012 - 8:17 pm

I love the comp in this shot! Too cute!

I love this picture, Max is cracking me up. what a great project, something we all need to do, get in more pics w/ our kiddos!!!

Shea Parker | Peepeye DesignsJanuary 6, 2012 - 8:45 pm

haha! the first thing i thought when i saw this picture was- She cheated!! And then you even said it yourself! I am sure i will “cheat” at some point on this journey too! but hey, at least some part of ourselves will be in the photo! :) glad to see that other people’s kids are not excited to have their picture made either! ;) The reality if being the child of a photographer, but they are all precious just the same ;) – we will have to get together to do some pictures, but then our kids might really revolt!

Jayme F.January 6, 2012 - 9:12 pm

Oh my gosh Suzanne this is absolutely gorgeous. Your kiddos are so adorable. I can’t wait to share this project with you this year!
